The Stillwater County Chamber of Commerce is excited to launch a new program that highlights the creativity and craftsmanship of local artists and makers. Beginning this year, the Stillwater County Visitor Center will feature artwork and handmade goods created by artists and crafters who live in Stillwater County.
This program provides a unique opportunity for local creators to display and sell their work in a high-visibility space visited by both tourists and residents. It also helps us showcase the talent and culture that make Stillwater County special.
How the Program Works
- Local artists and crafters may apply to display their work in the Visitor Center.
- Selected pieces will be displayed in designated retail and display areas.
- Items will be sold on a consignment basis.
- The Visitor Center will retain a small commission on each sale to support operations.
- Artists receive the remaining portion of the sale price.

Who Can Apply?
This program is open to artists and crafters who live in Stillwater County and create original, high-quality handmade or artistic products. Examples include, but are not limited to:
- Paintings, photography, and prints
- Woodworking and metalwork
- Ceramics and pottery
- Textiles, fiber art, and leather goods
- Jewelry and accessories
- Locally themed merchandise and artisan goods
Commission & Display Details
Artwork and products will be sold on consignment. The Visitor Center will retain a small commission on each sale to help cover staffing and operational costs. Commission rates, display space availability, and rotation schedules will be determined based on participation levels and product types.
