Stars, Stripes & Christmas Lights
Friday, December 4, 2026 — Parade starts at 6:00 PM
Pike Avenue, Columbus, Montana
The 2026 Columbus Parade of Lights is getting a patriotic Christmas twist. As America celebrates its 250th birthday, we’re bringing together two things we love — Christmas and the red, white, and blue.
This year’s theme: Stars, Stripes & Christmas Lights. We want to see Christmas lights mixed with American history, Montana heritage, stars and stripes, western Christmas traditions, military and veteran tributes, classic Americana, and plenty of holiday magic.
Parade route: starts at Git’s Big Sky Motel and travels Pike Avenue to The Whistle Stop.
Santa Claus will be riding with the Columbus Fire Department! Please keep Santa costumes off your own parade entries — Santa is reserved for CFD this year.
Float registration: Want to register a float in the parade? Contact the Stillwater County Chamber of Commerce at admin@stillwatercountychamber.com for registration information. Gather your group, business, or organization and help us light up Columbus!
