Columbus Community Congregational Chuch is a vibrant UCC congregation of wonderful people from age 0-93, all loving God and loving each other; full of fellowship, respect for others, and lots of meaningful mission works. All people of all ages are welcomed and valued.
Our Jammin’ for Jesus after-school ministry on Wednesdays draws youth from all over the community. The kids participate in some of our Sunday events and worship, and one of our church’s missions is to raise scholarships to send local kids to summer camps. Note: currently we are selling Raffle tickets for a beautiful handmade afghan to help fund youth camp scholarships. Raffle tickets are $5/each. (See photo - to buy raffle tickets contact Rhonda email@example.com. Drawing will be on Easter Sunday.)
Public Wi-Fi is always on, and casual dress is normal. Coffee, cookies, conversation follow every worship. We enjoy providing various music for worship: classical, guitar, and choir. Adult discussion group meets 9:00 a.m. on Sunday; they appreciate civil discussion of many issues, and they host the Stillwater Rising programs on pertinent issues.
Our Congregational Church is part of the United Church of Christ (UCC). We are serious about Jesus’ teachings, inclusiveness, and other meaningful tenets of the UCC, such as God is Still Speaking, equality, fairness and justice to all. New people and other questioners are invited! Whoever you are and wherever you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here.
